410 Studio is a small architecture practice focused on clear design, practical solutions, and spaces that support how people actually live and work.

What We Do

Residential

We work on new homes, renovations, and additions that help people get more out of the space and neighborhoods they already love.

Our residential work includes duplexes, single-family homes, ADUs, and carriage houses, often in tight urban lots or established neighborhoods. Whether it’s a major renovation, a backyard ADU, or a new build, we focus on thoughtful design, clear documentation, and solutions that are practical.

Commercial

Our commercial work focuses on small-scale, community-oriented projects and the adaptive reuse of existing buildings.

This includes retail spaces, small offices, mixed-use buildings, and small to medium multi-family housing. We enjoy working with older structures and finding ways to give them new life while respecting their context and constraints.

We collaborate closely with owners, contractors, and our engineering consultants to navigate zoning code, building codes, and constructabi, helping projects move forward efficiently and with clarity.

About

I grew up in Rochester, New York and came to Columbus to study architecture at The Ohio State University’s Knowlton School of Architecture. After graduating, I spent five years working at a local design firm, JBAD gaining experience across residential and commercial projects before starting my own practice in 2021.

410 Studio was founded in collaboration with SJM Studio and Bula Studio, alongside Sarah Mackert and Clark Sabula. That collaborative foundation still shapes how I work today designing as part of a larger team and valuing clear communication between clients, consultants, and builders.

I especially enjoy working with homeowners and new businesses, many of whom are navigating the design and construction process for the first time. My goal is to make working with an architect feel accessible and productive, helping clients understand their options and feel confident in the decisions being made. I also value close collaboration with contractors and see the best projects as true team efforts.

Outside of client work, I’m involved in local zoning efforts as a member of the Columbys South Side Area Zoning Committee. I’m excited about increasing housing density and the role that mixed-use spaces play in keeping urban neighborhoods active, walkable, and resilient. Beyond architecture, I have firsthand experience as a property owner and operator. My partners and I own and manage several rental properties in the Merion Village area, as well as a mixed-use building at Moler and 4th that’s home to Jennings Java, Isla Supper Club, The Century Events, and The Well Dance Center. That perspective informs how I approach projects, balancing design, budget, operations, and long-term use.
